According to transfermarkt.co.uk he is a right winger who can also play on the left or as a striker. He's a replacement for Cerci who has not been called up lately as he is being sold to Genoa (most likely). Not impressed with this signing at all. He is an attacking player who does not score goals. His tally is 8 goals in 80 games since 2008. Yuck.
Attacking midfielders don't necessarily have to be good goalscorers to be good players. Perhaps he can fill the Mario Santana role. He also ensures with the departure of El Tanque that we continue to fill our big, bald Uruguayan role.
According to Whoscored.com he is left/center midfield (MC or as Espn marked CM-L against Inter) and he is rating for Lecce this season is below average. Has played couple seasons as substitute in Juve and scored some years ago (season 04/05) against Fiorentina. They won 1-0. No idea what to expect from him
I remember a few years ago when Genoa had him on loan they played him in the top three of their 3-4-3 and he did not impress then.

I think he could be better than Lazzari. Not expecting much but all things considered he is a slight step up from what we had.
