    Defensively you'd have to ask questions, but as an attacking solution to the left wing he could be very interesting. His goal this weekend was a beauty.

    We could then play Hargreaves or Butt with Gerrard in centre midfield which would cover us defensively and let Gerrard play a bit more free and less as an anchor.

    Alan thompson of celtic is the man for left wing.
    Sven doesnt seem to know about him.

    Agreed, if Tommo had stayed in the Premiership he'd be our regular left mid now.
