You are completely missing the point. It is not about being logical or smart or finding the facts; it is about obscuring the truth and by doing that, making it impossible for people in the cult to discern fact from fiction.

What are the facts? Whatever dear leader tells them that they are today.. If they are different from what he told yesterday, it is because, yesterday was misconstrued or misrepresented by the enemies of the state. It is so 1984 that it makes you wonder if they're doing their morning gymnastics while watching Fox.

It's a Putin-style post-truth framework, where they create so many shifting and conflicting stories that people get tired of it and you can tell them the truth and they won't care.

A Florida handyman who received a pardon from President Trump for storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has been convicted of multiple state charges of child molestation and exposing himself to children, prosecutors told NPR. Andrew Paul Johnson, the pardoned rioter, attempted to bribe one victim with money he claimed he would receive as part of restitution for Jan. 6 defendants, police reported.

Oh, we're WAY past the part where John Hammond is sitting in the restaurant with the ice cream "we spared no expense" scene.

    What we need:

Put him in a room that's nothing but those one-way windows so he can see out, but we can't see in.

Give him a dummy phone so he can think he's posting to social media, but doesn't actually work.

    I'd pay to see THAT.

A member of the House has made a criminal referral on Cassidy Hutchinson. The allegation is that she committed perjury with her Jan 6 testimony. Gym Jordan co-signed the referral.

“I am your retribution.” It’s clearly the other way around way around.

It seems like perjury would be the easiest charge to charge all of these lying liars who always lie. Yeah, it could be like Al Capone and his tax evasion charge, but these people can't get off scot-free.

And if anyone is like me that had no idea who Cassidy Hutchinson is... She's a former White House staffer that was an aide to Trump's Chief of Staff at the time, Mark Meadows, that testified she had heard that Trump was so enraged by Secret Services refusal to take him to the Capitol building that he lunched for the steering wheel. This testimony was key to Democrats case that Trump knew that his Jan 6 speech had incited violence. Her testimony was not corroborated by the person she said she heard the information from, or one of the Secret Service agents that were part of his detail that day.

Related (I think this got posted somewhere)

    https://www.npr.org/2026/03/05/nx-s1-5725470/trump-jan-6-pardon-sexual-abuse-prison

Just months after President Trump's mass pardons for Jan. 6 rioters freed him from prison, a Florida man repeatedly sexually abused two middle-school aged children.

On Thursday, the man, Andrew Paul Johnson, was sentenced to life in prison, after a Florida jury found him guilty of five criminal charges, including molestation, lewd and lascivious exhibition and transmission of material harmful to a minor.

    "We're the real victims here"

Several people who were at the US Capitol during the January 6, 2021, insurrection are suing the police agencies that worked to defend the building that day, asking a federal court to award them millions of dollars in damages for the “physical and emotional injuries” they say were inflicted on them by law enforcement.

The class action lawsuit filed Friday at a federal court in Florida contends that the actions of US Capitol Police and members of DC’s police department the day of the riot were an unjustified response to the incident, during which a large mob of supporters of President Donald Trump attempted to block Congress’ certification of Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential win.

To push the crowd back from the iconic building and defend against the rioters, many of whom acted violently against the officers, the agencies deployed tear gas and other chemical irritants, as well police weapons.
