the only area Mueller potentially wimped out was not looking at mangos finances but I presume DOJ wouldn’t allow it
Well this is unsurprising. Some that work forces are same that burn crosses In the weeks before Jan. 6, 2021, Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio shared information about his group’s planned activities with a D.C. police lieutenant, who then passed it along to top intelligence officials at the U.S. Capitol Police, Tarrio’s attorneys indicated on Wednesday. Sabino Jauregui, Tarrio’s lawyer, said he hoped to show jurors messages between Lt. Shane Lamond and the Capitol Police intelligence unit’s director, Jack Donohue, that passed along information Tarrio had provided. His comments, amid the seditious conspiracy trial of Tarrio and four other Proud Boys leaders, were meant to blunt the suggestion by prosecutors that Lamond, a 22-year veteran of the Metropolitan Police Department, routinely passed along sensitive investigative information to Tarrio — and rarely got anything from Tarrio in return. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/02/15/dc-police-jan-6-tarrio-capitol-proud-boys-00083094
FBI agents have to crack up when they arrest tools like this DOJ says the fact that Garrett Miller was wearing an "I was there" Jan. 6 t-shirt when the FBI came knocking on inauguration day shows he was "proud of his conduct." pic.twitter.com/IEsIDUe8Lc— Ryan J. Mueller didn't wimp out but like Garland and all, they are institutionalists and didn't realize or want to believe this is when you break glass. The US democracy barely held and yet we're celebrating it as a positive that it held instead of going all out to root out and rewrite the rules so it never even gets that close again.
The crypto insurrection: "Godmother of Miami Crypto Scene" who founded city's Bitcoin Center and "educated Mayor Francis Suarez on Bitcoin,” provided Proud Boys with plan to overthrow government before January 6th, according to seditious conspiracy trial evidence #BecauseMiami: https://t.co/oKWukDRtxo pic.twitter.com/d6gsFy96d3— Because Miami (@BecauseMiami) February 17, 2023
No friggin way! Who Is Flores? A self-described libertarian, Flores was the youngest delegate in Washington state to work for the 2012 Ron Paul presidential campaign. She has attributed her love for cryptocurrency to her roots in libertarian politics, at one point noting that many of the early embracers of the Bitcoin movement followed an "anarchist" ideology.
Isn’t it strange how crypto, libertarianism, conspiracy theories and insurrection seem to find fertile ground among the same kind of people? Actually no, all of them despise a functional government…
Now now-- some are just young and impressionable. But they mostly get over it by about their seventeenth birthday...
I'm sure this will go well.. Kevin McCarthy has reportedly handed over 41,000 hours of security tapes from Jan6 to Tucker Carlson. I'm sure we can expect Tucker to accurately report on what is shown in the security tapes... https://www.axios.com/2023/02/20/kevin-mccarthy-tucker-carlson-jan-6-riot-footage
This is all greasing the palm for McCarthy's high-paying Fox gig after he pisses off the MAGA crowd and they oust his wimpy ass.
True, true. I can only assume there will be a FOIA request from all of the other news organizations using this information to get their hands on the security footage. Fox will obviously have a fairly large head start, but it will be hard to argue that Fox can have access to the video, but the other news organizations can't.
One would hope. But the timing of doing this right after the revelations coming out about Fox knowingly lying about Jan. 6 is almost certainly deliberate.
Ehh. I would think it would make things harder for Fox, tbh. I think it is more likely that the timing is just coincidental and that it was always going to happen.
I'm sure it's been in the works before. But if McCarthy had any shame or integrity, he would have delayed this move a bit. But then again, he's not handing them over to the News division...it seems he's giving them directly to Carlson. He's absolutely, 100% sending a message to the base.
I don’t think it would be to Congress? But, regardless, it is now publicly released information. They’d be hard pressed to come up with a reason that it can’t be released to the rest of the media.
Not wrong, but there's a difference between the only narrative coming out being from Tucker vs. the narrative also coming from less biased media sources.
Heard on Nicole Wallace that Rep Loudermilk (R-Pigfvckistan) who gave a personal tour of some odd Capitol locations on 1/5, wants to give 1/6 defendants access to the 1/6 videos too.
Too bad Pigfvckistan couldn't find some quieter milk to represent them in Congress. OK. I'm logging out for the day.
