Honestly I am very thankful that Leon is appericiating him enough to play and we are seeing him being active.
I don't believe there are any "anti-james" if he plays well people like him and if he acts like a primadonna they don't. Just like any player. At least he gets to face his old team since he couldn't stay in La Liga long enough to do so with Rayo.
AS Colombia 🇨🇴 (@AS_Colombia) April 17, 2025 Rumor is Rafa Benitez being considered
back to back yellow cards for James for yelling at the ref after a challenge on him wasnt called a foul. took the frustration of the game out on the ref and now I think he misses the 1st leg of the playoffs.
I had no idea ramos was playing in Mexico. I remember when they were together at RM, Ramos talked trash to the media about him. I thought it was in bad taste. I kind of suspected James red would be about his attitude or behavior, he's not a dirty player
For the most part James is not a dirty player. However, when his buttons are pushed he won't back down. He was really matching the physical play of Uruguay and got a yellow in the Copa. Also the Uruguay match in Barranquilla he matched their physicality and was fortunate not to get carded in that one with some of his tackles.
You can't make this stuff up. Name me a team in the last 10 years that didn't start out great with James, to only come crashing down hard? Even with the NT, things just fall apart around this guy. Never his fault either. It's too much. It's horrible to think, we have no other choice but to deal with it.
it's too bad, its unfair and I feel bad but man its kind of comical how many ways James can get constantly screwed over in club football, lots of it is on him but lmao even when not the world still finds a way to piss on him.
Should just fly to Medeliin right now, do some light training with Nacional like JuanFer did a few years back. Then on the 27th when all the other Seleccion players come in he should be fine and ready for Peru.
That's exactly right. James thrives when he can prep himself that way for a tournament like in 2014 and before the Copa last year.
Juanfer is doing well right now, so if James for whatever reason would disappoint I think he can do the job. What worries me the most are Lorenzos effing late changes.
