Ok debut. Made a really good precise long ball during the few minutes he was on. Cameras love him. This shall be fun. ATM next.

Nice to see that they don't have to fully rely on him for results. Although this remains to see how they do against the tougher teams and how well he does with them.

The media really turns managers against James. It gets annoying for those guys having to answer about James
Agreed. The managers job is to win games. I really don't get why they made such a big deal about James not getting more minutes. They won 3 important points and james got his first minutes of playing time. Nothing to complain about at all. If people doubt that James won't get any playing time after this they are morons in my opinion. I'd worry more about Cabal, seemed like he had won that spot in the starting line-up and now he's started 2 games on the bench I think. Feels like in his case it may be a different story. I'm also surprised about the decision because he did not play bad when he got the chance.

Rayo scores first. This could mean that James would come on even later than what would have been planned.
Didn't really get a chance to do much. 2 games in the next week first up away to Girona and Yasser and Solils, hopefully he can get a start and 60 minutes, if not than we should brace ourselves for another novella.
they play very vertical football attacking with 2-3 passes, just passing a running not a lot of collective play. It's sad that he was so crazy about living in madrid, it's almost like they feel like they did him a favor for receiving him. I heard they have some weird motto like "in rayo no player is bigger than anybody else". I guess that's fine but certainly not something you'd like to hear for a star player just arriving. I get the same vibes over this as the Puerta to Hull deal. Someone wanted him there but it certainly wasn't the coach. It's sad because Bröndbys coach wanted Puerta, and Michel wanted Yaser.
totally agree that they tend to play the run and run 2-3 passes. The team needs his IQ. No one is really feeding him the ball quite yet.
