I can't wait for a certain someone to discount this, that, and every other gol and assist he'll continue to put in

I legit have no clue what went down with him recently. I no longer read anything about James' off-field antics.

He's a headcase, but, as long as he's decently fit, he will produce. I wonder if Sao Paulo has just accepted that. If he can play, play him. The fans didn't seem upset with him...

@HomietheClown and calvo velez and all his detractors

    is that rythm enough???

The guy produces WHEN he plays. That’s why he plays when available

The funny thing is even though off the field the guy is a complete nightmare, he's got a pretty long track record of being a diva off the field and then being an unselfish asset to a team when he steps on the pitch. If it wasn't for the fact his game is designed to make the whole team better offensively and he's very damn good at it he wouldn't be getting so many chances, but it seems almost every time his on field performance is not of a selfish diva but of a creative genius that makes his teammates better.

It is nice he scored and had an assist against a team most of us have never heard of before.

I hope he continues to play well and gets into shape.

Ha. Yea. I see NB has been making baseball cleats too.

looks weird, but remember there was a point in time when it was weird to use Nike shoes for basketball

You know it is kinda pitiful when one posts a James Highlight video and the only thing people talk about is the shoes he is wearing.

No it's not that I am unfamiliar with their brand being used in this sport for cleats it's how he was sponsored by Adidas for so long that I didn't realize he was now under their brand.

I didn’t know he switched to NB either and didn’t know NB did fútbol cleats. I need to renew my subscription to EastBay catalogues!

You put the right players around James and he will shine and make the team shine, almost always has been the case. We developed a system that had no movement and no real passing and fluidity, we couldn't get the ball to James in good areas and didn't have players making runs off of him, Diaz and Arias and an emphasis on pressing and passing the ball and he shines. We need to write off the 4 years prior to the Lorenzo era as complete disfunction in style and personal, this team is perfect for James you can't simply cut him off or box him in and he's thriving.

Only thing I will say is that part of the reason Yaser is not getting any playing time and will probably not make the Copa America roster is because we keep on throwing James out there.

I much rather see Yaser get his chance but when James plays like he did last night I really cannot complain at all.
