Falcao would be proud of that header.

Played well in the Greek derby according to ESPN. Glad he is finally playing regularly.

He’s off to a good start. Let’s revisit in March when they are 20+ games deep.

It's pleasing to see James being do active again but Jesus it just annoys me with how he goes through the trouble to rely purely on his left....

What a fascinating situation. The Greek league actually looks perfect for him at this stage - he can completely boss a game while simply walking the pitch like Valderrama later in his career and he is involved in everything.

He created like 10 one v ones with the keeper that his strikers wasted and some of his balls over the top were just ridiculous. Olympiakos are up to 3rd in the table there, what a nice story if they could make up the five points and take the league.

Him being humbled to play in that league probably helps him out while still building confidence.

Probably would have still messed things up at Bayern acting immature and like a prima donna.
Very few managers would have put up with that.

he did the same thing that so many others do, he went back to go kiss Real Madrid's ass a team that does not care about anyone. The worst part is he did it at a crucial point in his career.

Bayern are a serious institution who value their team over everything. He also had some bad luck too repeatedly running into managers who don't care for him.
    '
he probably let life in Madrid get to his head because I don't believe he was always like this at the beginning. These are simple things that many colombians have always struggled with

I'm glad he's playing on a regular basis albeit in a tier 3 league but it worries me that the press is so in tuned with every little detail. This tells me the same press will put pressure on Lorenzo to call him up and have him lead this WCQ campaign. I don't mind him as some type of super sub for 20 minutes but that's about it.

I don't know the game play vs the US is not something James can fit in nor Quintero.

You have Diaz on the Left and Sinesterria on the right + who ever up as a 9. with a stronger MF and it will be an exciting team to watch. I just think if Fabra is the best LB we have and we also don't have RBs then we really need to do 3 in the back.

I agree although the US game is the perfect example where coming in with 20 minutes to go he might make a difference. The corners/set kicks and someone with his vision to create space for the faster forwards would have been ok. But again, I just don't want this " irreplaceable player" mentality the way he has been used for the past 2 WCQ cycles.

    Lorenzo is in a pickle.
He has stated a few times that he will rely on the old veterans.
But that can just be talk and to appease the media and Fed leaders. He would have to be blind not to see that a lineup like the one we had the second half against Mexico is the way to go.

That 2nd half against Mexico needs to be the blueprint.

Played another great game in Olympiacos tie with PAOK.

Nobody changes field like James. Yikes.

Gotta give Mendes credit - Greece is really flattering what's left of James' game.
