NYCFC doesn't need them, as i am hoping we get a solid defender to lead the back; God knows we need that. I think James shouldn't look to the teams in FL overall and can be better suited in another region.

Usually, but James carried that onto being the best midfielder in La Liga and Bundesliga in subsequent seasons... He accomplished so much so early in his career everything after he left Bayern has been a fiasco outside of really solid on field play for Everton when he was healthy.
Having to deal with coaches that disliked him hurt him a lot, but then his decision making compounded the ordeal.
