Benitez is such a jerk. He can't help it. Just say yes or no, but instead every time he attacks James' match fitness...
He is, and James ********ing new it and is gonna waste at least half the season there. Like dude just keep it together for a year and a half till the World Cup and you can be a legend in Colombia, then you can jerk off and do whatever you like for the rest of your life.
He should have left, but if the only offer in the end was a Turkish team in relegation then waiting until January was probably the best option. And if this situation wasnt enough for him to lower his salary for more teams to be interested in him then he can expect similar level interested in January.
If he becomes a free agent he'll easily become a big target for a lot of clubs who can get him for free; I am still positive for Serie A even if he's not picked up in January.
The issue is his salary demands - he could have gone for free with Everton even subsidizing part of his wages in August. Now next summer he will be out of contract though so one hopes he will be more pragmatic.
Why is this guy relevant? We need moved on because he clearly moved on from being a football player. He decided to talk half of year off with 5 million Euros guaranteed.
James not in the squad, not surprising with Benitez saying he needs to get in better shape. Man if you're the Everton ownership and fans you gotta be pretty pissed at the whole situation, he's on huge wages for them and he's not even making the bench with one of their main 9 out.

The worse part for James is that the guys who replaced him, Townsend and Gray, have been really good for Everton to start the season.
