He came closest to scoring that half and got denied from a good save from the goalie with a shot that was going in the bottom corner. The most important game he's played recently and he's yanked at the half and treated like a player from the Castilla.

He had that one good shot but his overall performance wasn't so special in my opinion. But if Zidane treats him like shit the other players are not going to respect him either.

Yeah he didn't do much in the game really, but also didn't get much of a chance and get on the ball much. Diaz looked really lost and timid, I think James in all fairness James in Diaz position would have been much better but clearly Zidane loves to scapegoat James no matter what. Diaz hasn't played at all recently or over the last few years for that matter and Zidane was happy to leave him out there.

Why is James always putting himself in this position ? He should’ve learned 2 years ago that this club doesn’t want him .

I think it's like an ex that you think is the best you're ever going to get, he'll put himself in terrible positions and get treated like shit but keeps going back because he desperately wants it to work in that city and for that club. Just move on and be happy where you're appreciated, he honestly plays consistently worse there more then he has anywhere else in his career because he's constantly looking over his shoulder and can't play his game and relax because he knows he's not trusted. He's a player who plays with confidence and needs to be on the ball and in Madrid they treat him like a read headed step child.

he is an idiot. Not staying with Bayern was retarded he will be lucky if a MLS team saves him by loaning him till next season so he gets some games before Copa america

tho he needs to not get called and told to
Get the fk out of Real. If all he wants is money then go to China or Arabia and get insane money and actually play

What @villus says and also the paycheck must justify all the drama :(

Let’s not forget James was able to have a full season for RMA his first year and he was a solid performer that year. He probably has convinced himself that he can replicate that. Hence the desire to “go back to the ex”

the mls season starts in a few weeks he will start in no time

man he was the chosen one.... but chose to be an idiot instead. He too old to be wasting his career and I thought you couldn’t be any dumber than Quintero wanting to make a rap album

    His season is not over.

When they start playing Champions League matches he will be playing in the Liga matches.

It will probably be the same rotation Zidane used last time he was on the team.

But once they get eliminated from the Champions then that will be the time his season will be pretty much done.

^ I respect your positivity, but being convocado in this case doesn't mean much. Hazard is also healthy. Praying for a miracle though.

By this point Him playing this weekend and next weekend while Zidane uses his prefered players in the UCL will be the better investment; he's rusty right now.

Even if he rotates, decent chance James still doesn't start. Hazard and Isco could be rotated as well as Modric. I'd be really suprised if he starts, but glad he's at least healthy.
