Madrid start 5 CM's two of which in free attacking roles which is basically James ideal spot but Zidane would rather use Modric and Isco there. He's 28 and exiting his peak years and the guy is getting games that are basically only complete rotation. A waste of a player who had so much in front of him 5 years ago.
I'm starting to think it's better he is not part of the NT. Queiroz has the guts to leave him out. With his current form he wouldn't improve the team.
I can maybe agree with the second part and I think CQ has been trying his best to figure out a way to play without him as starter. Personally though it would suck in so many ways not to have him on the team. Significantly his passing and his delivery on set pieces can only be matched by someone like JuanFer. And JuanFer may not be on the squad either for all I know.
I’m not holding my breath for JFQ - definitely not for March. Let’s see how he is doing in April/May James, outside of injury, is a must have in my eyes but I’m glad we have been able to test out the team in several games without him.
He should be on the team, he's still a quality player but we need to find a way to drive it into his head that he needs to leave or the NT won't rely on him. Bench him if its possible, if Quintero can play and get some momentum I'd be perfectly happy with him starting. He's gonna keep getting injured too because he's not getting match fit with his lack of games.
It would be great to see him angry and going out there with something to prove. I want to see the James that shows up for Colombia to know he's still in there.
James looks fully fit and hungry. He does get pushed off corners by Kroos, you can see James run over to take them and Kroos has pulled rank already a couple times. James is so disrespected at that club, too good of a player to be treated like a youth player over and over.
Looks like they dont want to pass the ball to him a lot. Also RMA hasn't been able to build attacks. This is what James wants though, so let him enjoy...
