He was first mentioned on BS at least as early as late 2022; I always found it odd that I couldn't pin this down, though of course it's generally harder when citizenship is through parentage than birthplace. A number of older foreign-language articles I've read call him American, though without direct citation or quotation. I was kinda hoping he'd sign with the Union so we'd get the rest of the story. His pathway is fascinating!
