Jaime Moreno will join Sport Boys Warnes in the 2nd division Bolivian league, as they try to earn promotion to the 1st division. For those that understand Spanish, here is the press conference announcement:

Doesn't he currently have a role with the D.C. United youth setup?

Wow. This is bizarre. Good for him if he wants to suit up again, but how good of shape do you need to play with young, hungry guys at 14,000 feet in Bolivia? I remember just visiting the country and being winded walking to my hotel.

I am pretty sure this is a team in Santa Cruz, so no altitude. I can't imagine his shape being too good... I remember seeing him last year around april, he looked to have packed on some weight in the gut area.

Edit: He just addressed that he still works for DCU with the youth team, and said he's going to fly back and forth to do both.

I was curious about that, as I still saw him listed as the coach.

Can't they just sit an open PC up in the coach's box and use Skype instead of the cost (and wear&tear) of flying? ;)

    LOL Right?

Interesting thign is, the team is all but guarunteed to make it to the first division next season.

I haven't cauught any of his games, but from the soudns of it.... he's not playing so well. From the press conf. I saw of him....he seems somewhat out of shape. Still want to see him play in Bolivia though!

He came on for the last 5mins of the win ironically over Jaime's childhood club, Club Blooming.

There is a growing number of fans who never got to see Jaime play. That is a sad thing.
