Oh damn .. the ref played a major part in the build up of that goal. In the midfield he body checked the Osasuna player off the ball giving Messi the opportunity to start the play.

Great result, mediocre performance. Three points from a bogey fixture like this is always good, and tonight the style points aren’t that important. Glad that Puyol was able to play the whole match, and Villa is slowly but surely returning. Pedro also seemed sharp. Cesc needs to step it up and contribute more, although I guess it’s too early in the season to criticize anyone too seriously as this only the third match. About the help from the ref in the other goal: in the race for the title between us and LPB lucks usually evens out during the season. They've had more luck than us this season so far (Soldado was onside) and this brings the balance a bit closer. Nothing special.
Lucky considering how bad we were in the 2nd half before the goal but hey a wins a win. We need to use this as a lesson for future matches
