    One of the best leagues in the world? When did that happen?

    Granted, the J-League has a lot to be proud of. Let's hope MLS can have similar success after ten years.

    Yeah, it's a pretty shoddy article. Japan didn't get "15" new stadia from the World Cup. And the increases are deceiving, too. They J-League started with huge crowds that collapsed, then have slowly grown back the last 2-3 years as the World Cup build-up took hold.

    Apparently there's some big "Conference on Indian Football" going on. I think they're trying to figure out how to start a division one domestic league.

    Here's another article. On my.yahoo, I've got the soccer categories from around the world, including India. Most of the India stuff is U.K. rehashes, but there's the occasional original bit.
