wait is Brescia even in seria a? (sorry i just forget sometimes)

it would be good for j-league teams to win the games to get japanese players in those teams noticed.

maybe beating real madrid or milan wont do any good for a japanese players because they would rot in the bench there if bought, but all the other teams (parma, chievo) those teams are a perfect fit for japanese players interms of seeing playing time.

the juve-milan looks interesting and hopefully they give a good spectacle and dont put people to sleep again.

Chievo are probably trying to score some cheap Japanese talent. Except they're playing Sendai...

Ono says he might play a few minutes. I don't think even that's a good idea, though I don't think any Urawa player's going to tackle him hard.

i thought all of feyenoord, chievo, and parma were stronger than italy national team. maybe just too tired and lazy right after the season was over

I love how no mention of jetlag was made until they said Chievo was beat by Sendai. I figure if Parma and Feye lost, too...

IT WOULD BE THE JET LAG AND WOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JLEAGUE TEAMS BEING SIMPLY THE BETTER TEAM FOR THAT PARTICULAR MATCH.

i don't care if they win but good thing was our u-22 trio did good. okubo scored against parma and matsui scored twice in japan nt vs. vissel kobe match. ishikawa sounded performing good in that game too.

    "a jet-lagged chievo"... lol

Hush. J-League is simply better than those so called "top" Euro leagues.

he has been on horrible luck. everytime he comes back from injury he gets a hard tuckle and leaves the pitch with another wound.

nakata is a shy guy. he run away from his team mates when they tried to toss him shoulder-high. or is it a sign that he will stay in parma?

    Cerezo 2 Parma 2

Nice game played in front of 45,000 Osaka-jin
Cerezo scored first in the ninth minute but then, as usual, were shaky on defense, letting Adriano score two back in the first half. Okubo, the 22 year old rising star for JMNT and Cerezo, came on in the 2nd half. Cerezo hit the post on one nice shot and Joao saved a certain goal, clearing it out of thin air on the goal line. Then Okubo pushed past two Parma defenders and beat Taraffel to tie the score 2-2. Not at all bad! 7th place in J league but that's the best in the Kansai!

    Bwa ha ha!

I just read on Matsu's site that Okubo gave Nakata a hard tackle and was talkin $#!t to him! That's the Japan NT captain he's dealing with!

The more I read about this guy (Okubo), the more I think he'll be great. He truly does not give a $#it who he's playing. He'll go after you, regardless. Japan needs more players like this.

Yes. The presence of Baggio ensures this.

Speaking ot the divine ponytail, there are rumours that his match on August 4 against Tokyo Verdy may be his last match as a professional. Is there any possibility that the rumour might come true?
(If so I want to buy my tickets right now. . . .)
