Kyoto Sanga FC-Yokohama F Marinos **FIRST HALF** 2-1.

Sanga goals by Tahara and Yanagisawa. In the second half (score??) mostly reserves playing.

I wish I had more info, but this is all I got, from a forum, where a Sanga fan in Kyushu sent a message. I assume the game is not over yet...?

    Well, anyway Yanagi scored :D

    ==UPDATE==
Game finished 2-3 (Yokohama win), but according to Sanga's fans, it doesn't matter, because the real game was in the 1st half, and we won that :p

Of course, you should take the version you prefer ;)

no koji, no yuji and no lopes for us.
    [/excuses]

the website hasn't said what our line up was for the, i think, 3 periods. i am hoping they will so i can have a look and see what kind of team we were playing.

According to Sanga's website, YFM goals by Hasegawa, Matsuda (PK) while your third goal was scored by a guest player. If you look at the picture on Yomiuri (also on my blog), the players are wearing practice shirts... These TM games are always very loose (not to make excuse because we've lost, uh...)

yeah, i saw the scorers on the marinos site but for our game against busan they listed the line ups for the various periods. i was hoping to see them and have look at who he was sending out when.
these pre-season friendlies do seem to be more for fitness than seriousness, which is good when i see aria hasegawa coming through them well.

Re: J. League 2008 uniform Thread

it's preseason. I caught a game between verdy and roasso. It was nice to put a name with a face so to speak, but i think they were playing their tops against the verdy reserves and they've got a long way to go. It'll be interesting to see them versus the likes of Mito and the other boys at the bottom. For some reason, I've got a feeling they'll be top half along with gifu. Don't know why though. Just a hunch.

Gamba will play Hawaii Pacific U. on Sunday as a warm-up for the Pan-Pacific Championship:

I watched HPU twice while it was actually in season. This will not be pretty....

HPU has a very good team, but I think their best player now has quit (a Brazilian). I ref them in the final of the JAL 5-a-side state (?) championship last year.

Btw, my son has been picked up to be one of the 22 mascots at the opening game. I believe he's the only one who'll prefer holding hand with a Gamba player than with Beckham.

I don't know about very good. They lost two out of three matches against a very average Hawaii-Hilo team (the other one was 3-2 in OT in Honolulu). Akihide Adachi struck me as their best player, but he's a senior so he might not be practicing with them.

If your kid walks out with Ruiz, I'll pay him five whole dollars if he kicks him in the ankle. :)

    Jubilo-Sanga FC 1-0

Sanga dominated the game among the top-teams, but was scored on a counterattack and could have been punished a few more times.
