Re: Burn a J. League Mascot I got this from googling, as far as I know the logo type & the futsal league logo are used by Arte Takasaki, but I don't know about the "mascot", a daruma named "Darte-kun"? Is it official or not?
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot After this Sea World (Florida) death, I wouldn't mess with an orca mascot.
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot That's cuz Sea World doesn't know how to deal with cetaceans properly. They think they're these cute cuddly animals. Exploding penthrite grenade tipped harpoons are the way to go!
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot "A killer whale which drowned its trainer will be spared after colleagues said her ponytail was to blame for the tragedy." (Telegraph) That must have been one hell of a ponytail for the whale to kill her over it. Maybe she greased it with the blood of the whale's family or something.
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot Now Japan has another reason to "research" these whales. They are a threat to humanity.
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot Nah there's no need to research Orcas. The whale worshipers haven't passed a moratorium with votes bought by Greenpeace, passed in spite of scientific advice, requiring research to return to normal whaling for Orcas. That's only for abundant minke whales numbering over a million worldwide that are not nor have ever been endangered.
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot Ok, this might upscale quickly (happened before), so please stop it here --- thanks. (Plenty of forums to discuss whaling out there...)
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot I think they're the candidates for Blaublitz Akita's mascots http://blaublitz.jp/whatsnew/116.html They already appeared last year: (the last two photos) http://www.jfl-info.net/pleasure/index3.html

Re: Burn a J. League Mascot WTF? I dont know which is more depressing - the fact that the frog died of heat stroke, or the fact that there are more mascots on the pitch than fans in the away supporters end . . .

Re: Burn a J. League Mascot Frontale has now four mascots. My hate-waves were so strong that when they walked around me, outside Todoroki, one of them (the purple Teletubby-wannabe) stumbled and fell down on his knees. I have it on video. I swear I did not touch the horrible thing, I was filming...

Re: Burn a J. League Mascot I have a confession to make: I have a photo of me with Reddia and Friendia. I feel pretty guilty about it. This thread was in the back of my mind when I had the photo taken. But they seemed more excited about it than I was; perhaps it was the whole idea of, "Wow, a gaijin is wearing our team's jersey and scarf. This is amazing!" They were shaking my hand and giving me pats on the back and the thumbs up and everything. They were totally speechless.
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot Zweigen Kanazawa application for associate membership maybe rejected, but they're already preparing a mascot http://www.zweigen-kanazawa.jp/news/newsDetail428.html at least it's not a mutant or an absurd creature
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot It's an eagle with a duck bill. Like a bird-platypus. And its head is on fire.
Re: Burn a J. League Mascot Its a hawk. We have this same type of hawk in the hills around my house and I see them quite often. although they dont have yellow hair, and they dont wear socks. . . .
