I dont really see a problem with the defense.

Both goals our team was returning.

The only good thing about this season will be the growing pains this team will go through. It certainly will not feel good, but ultimately I hope it pays dividends for the next season and afterwards. El Russo, needs to balance the middle of the field. The back line isn't getting killed, but even they can't keep getting hammered without falling apart. There has to be more control of the pace and America has to dictate the terms of the game.

I only saw the second half and our defenders specially in the right side were always caught out of position mostly thanks to that world class full back known as Oscar Rojas who was always caught on the break, I don't know why he goes into the offensive since he is sterile at best going forward, and then the mofo takes his time to get back to his position, I will say it again we can change our center backs as many times as we want but as long as we have Rojas and Castro as our full backs our defense will strugle.......and for god sake get Villa out of the starting line and have him take that lazy Uruguayan with him..............

I think if Brailovsky loses to the kitties he is out as early as next sunday...........

I stood up for the defense in La Sudamericana. And now Its more than clear that our Defense aint the problem!

The midfield is where we have most of our problems!

Since Pavel left we lack of a link between the Midfield and the Offense.

Yesterday our team had a possesion with atleast 25 passes between us! and at the end NO SHOT was registered!

Dominguez at times couldnt resist but to go forward cause our midfield and up was producing shit!

I don't think a Pavel like player is the problem or what we need, what we need is a cuauhtemoc caliber player, someone that would make all our shit players look decent, because face it we have a crappy team, the whole back line is crap, pure utter crap, the middle other than Arguello is crap, Villa nor Silva are really good enough, Silva might be in the future though, up front we have Cabañas who is the shit and Esqueda who is a really good prospect but other than that we have nothing, and Memo who is god like back there..........

But we go exactly to the same thing with Cuauhtemoc. Temo is a mastermind no doubt but if he has to come all the way down to midfield to get the ball and create a play then Temo wont be very effective.

Once again ill say this we need a creative midfielder that can create a play that will send the ball to the forwards. We need a STRONG midfield that can defend and attack correctly!

I invite you to see this video!

Miguel Herrera sees the problem and then Carlos Albert agrees with it!

Fair enough LS, but I still think the defense should be held accountable for their mistakes more often, maybe Ruso should just go back to a a 4-4-2 instead of his 4-3-1-2 and bench Richard, put Esqueda in(will he be allowed to play on Sunday?) and have Arguello and Villa in the center of the midfield with Silva on the left and have some else in the right.......
