    STATEMENT FROM IRONMEN OWNERSHIP

Newark, N.J. - In light of the recent announcement that the Major Indoor Soccer League was ceasing operations and restructuring, New Jersey Ironmen owners Jeff Vanderbeek and Michael Gilfillan formally reiterated their commitment to the game of indoor soccer and the communities that the team serves.

"We remain committed to the New Jersey Ironmen and the overall success of the game of indoor soccer," Ironmen co-owner Jeff Vanderbeek stated. "We are currently working with the professional leadership of our fellow ownership groups in the formation of a new league, and we remain focused on raising the high standard the Ironmen established during our inaugural season here at Prudential Center."

Ironmen co-owner Michael Gilfillan also commented on the continual involvement that the Ironmen will have within the surrounding community.

"Our commitment is not only to the Ironmen, but also to the surrounding soccer communities, best symbolized by our statewide youth summer camp programs," Gilfillan said. "We look to build upon the success we reached in our inaugural campaign this past season, and we remain focused on the ultimate goal of bringing a league championship to the New York/ New Jersey metropolitan area."

The MISL Management Committee has begun formal transition planning and restructuring as they consider moves which they believe will help lower costs and attract additional ownership groups. A decision on the future structure of the league will be forthcoming in the next couple of weeks.
