As someone who lives in Los Angeles, I support the L.A. Galaxy (as one can see from my username). But as I've been watching the EPL this past year, I've become a big fan of English football. The problem is I've never had a team to root for; I just sort of watched whatever match I could. But now I've finally decided to root for Liverpool. As a relative newbie to the EPL (and a newbie to this message board), can anyone please educate me on what it means to really support Liverpool so I won't seem like a complete newbie idiot, and where I can find information to educate myself in regards to my new allegiance? Any help would be appreciated.
I don't think you can do much better than this thread: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43745 I picked Liverpool for a very simple reason - I was 9 years old and they were the first team I saw on TV, but over the years, I've grown to appreciate the culture and my love for the club grew stronger with the way it handled the Hillsborough tragedy. Other clubs may play prettier soccer and this season has been tough, but it's good to know LFC always strives to be classy.
