    After many doubts and delays over the holding any celebrations to mark Ittihad's 75 anniversary, the club has finally announced it's diamond jubilee celebrations that are to be held on 4 January.

    Here's what I gather it would entail:

    * A friendly with AC Milan
    * A performance by a local musician (TBC)
    * Firework display
    * Honouring senior and ex players

    Tickets are to be sold at a hefty 75 riyals (4 times the average cost of a league game ticket) and will be on sale in the next few days.

  2. not to scare you but recently qatar got whipped by milan 6-0. if the game is totally for celebration and entertaining purpose, probably milan won't go tough

    6:0? so what we got thrashed by gernamy 8:0... that score line erased any fears of any further humilatinos :D.

    What Itthadies need to be afraid of is the very popluar superstetion that thier Rivals Al-Ahli down fall in the last years was because they spent a lot of money (millions) celeprating their jubilee... FEAR THE SAKHAT!!!

    More details on the game...

    The game is on the 7th not the 4th (it corresponds to 4 thulqaada so you can see where the mistake came from)

    Ticket prices:
    75 Riyals for 2nd
    200 Riyals for 1st
    400 Riyals for premier
    800 Riyals for executive (muna9a)

    Tickets will be on sale this morning. Can be purchased in supermarkets malls and kiosks throughout Jeddah, except the executive tickets which must be purchased from the organisers directly.
