Tuttosport is reporting both Suarez and Higuain have said yes to Juventus. I wonder which one we'll get.

Higuain would be excellent here, the only player i would take over him out of the ones mentioned is Falcao

problem with rossi is he's out til february!
thats a very long time and by the time he gets back in rhythm season is over. So its more of a long term thing but i'd take that IF he comes real cheap.

but villa i would take, im tired of people making SUCH big deal on age...look at how many world class players we've seen that play well into their 30s?? so many examples...if we get him now all we'll need is maybe 3 years from him and he can do that

I think Rossi would've been a decent signing (though not enough, imo) if he hadn't reinjured his knee. With that type of injury, it's very likely that he'll no longer be the player he was before. Even if he is dirt cheap now, I wouldn't take the risk.

Are those what you have heard or what you believe are true indications of price? If so, Higuain seems very very low and I would snatch him up for 25M.

These are approx. what they are worth on the market on the low end. Obviously they will rise if they have many bidders. I think Higuain might end up going for between 35-45m if Chelsea and PSG start getting aggressive.

Juventus are interested in Neymar, confirms Santos president

    Remember this...
"Which proposal do I favour? The one from Juventus. I have no problem in saying that I would most like to put on the black and white jersey. Inter have prestige and it is the team where Ronaldo, one of my idols, played, but I hope no-one is offended as my first choice is Juventus," concluded the youngster, who stated that the other interested clubs were Real Madrid and Manchester United.

    SILLY season indeed!!

"He will go to a club who will make him feel important and where he can have the chance to show his quality. He has received a lot of offers, from Italy and abroad, including a recent one from Barcelona," Andrea D’Amico(Giovinco's agent) told Radio Mana Mana.

He's 20 years old. Nobody thinks he has any chance of succeeding in Europe?

Now that we are champions and back in the CL, we have become popular, at least among agents ...

    Dzeko agent: 'Ideal for Juve!'
    By Football Italia staff
    [IMG]
Edin Dzeko’s agent is pushing for a move to Juventus. “He’d be ideal for Antonio Conte’s tactics. We hoped he’d play more” regularly at Manchester City.

The striker was on the verge of a transfer to Turin when he was atWolfsburg, but opted for the Premier League instead, where he won the title this season.
“Dzeko would be excellent for Juve,” agent Sead Susic told Radio Radio today.
“He is still tied to a long-term contract with City and ended the season well. However, we had hoped he would play some more.
“Maybe Roberto Mancini is wrong to use him so little, considering his average goal-scoring ratio, but in any case I think he’d be ideal for Conte’s tactics.”
Susic also revealed why the proposed transfer to Serie A broke down two years ago.
“At the time neither Milan nor Juve could sign him because the price-tag was too high. The Bianconeri are still interested, as are Real Madrid.
“We’re trying to work out what City will decide to do, then find a solution.Anzhi? I don’t think he’d go there.”

Shame about Dzeko and his agent. I remember when Man City inquired about him, and this was his theme song...

    Re: Dzeko...

Umm, he's not well suited for Conte's style of play. He doesn't defend, and when he tracks back he's not that great. He's got his height going for him, but how many goals did Juve score off crosses or corners this season?

    I'd pass.

Obviously, not with regularity; it's a higher standard of play in Europe; but class is class. The potential is there.

    dzeko: no. too stiff.
neymar: i would LOVE. imagine him playing on the wing? i think he will translate, i honestly think he could be the best attacker in the world one day

we all agree we need another LB, i say jordi alba or armero of udinese. if we play 3-5-2 they are BOTH perfect, and leave pdc the 4-3-3 opportunities.

i really think padoin should go, he brings nothing to a team like juve

but striker talk in general i mean really, we CLEARLY need someone better. i LIKE matri and quags, but they are NOT world class. that long string of draws SHOULD have cost us, we are lucky it didnt. i LOVE our team this year, but to think it doesn't need tweaking is wrong.

i mean really, swap matri and quags with aguero and balotelli. would city have won EPL? no. would we have won serie A even sooner? yes. large talent gap.

buy someone clinical (FALCAO, cavani, soldado), keep matri and quags as two and three, add someone young (destro, bring back immobile, some other young player etc), and then take a flier on rossi if he could be had for 5 or 6 or something cheap.

falcao, matri, quags (most of the time only one getting a spot so that's enough depth cuz in 3-5-2 vucinic is the other), youngster and rossi for the future and we are set.
