    my bad, i thought you all liked Wells, I haven't seen many of your matches this season, but from the ones I did he seemed decent

    I don't think this is a bad move. Tony is a Proven Veteran Goalkeeper (at least in this league), he still has a couple of seasons left in him. I think he'll do well.

    Picking up a veteran keeper in general makes sense - and if you are from this area all your life (like myself) how can you not be happy to have Tony?

    Exactly. The guy is bringing to the team an image. Tony represents the Metro area and takes pride in that. Yeah, he called it NY when interviewed, but that's because it's easier to say NY then NJ in the media (the Metros to the media, represent NY). Ammann and Howard were guys who took a lot of pride in being a MetroStars. I don't see the same energy when Wells and Walker play.
