It's obvious our problem is in Defense....

We have score 30 goals. Only 4 teams have scored more than us (Inter 43, Roma 38, Juventus 39, Fiorentina 32) and 1 team tied with goals (Milan 30).

We've let up 31 goals ... only 2 teams have allowed more goals (Palermo 34, Calgliari 37) and 2 are tied with us(Livorno 31, Siena 31).

THIS IS PATHETIC!!!!! Maybe it's because we're playing a 3 man back... hmmmmm. If I can see it why can't the guy getting paid to coach the team see it!!!!

Thank god we've switched to a 4-3-3 .... I still don't think that's going to help us win. We should be playing a 4-1-2-1-2. But whatever.

A lot of the blame for the defense is also due to a chaotic backline. Even though we have a stable four man rotation back there, I can't think of many games when the backline had a collective strong effort. It always seems that at least one will have a miserable game and that's been the difference in the match (except for Milan where everyone fell apart in the 2nd half).

If we're going to play with four in the back, we're going to need more defenders. Ruben Maldonado doesn't count.

its kinda crazy how things change .....at the 1st half of last year Maldonado was playing really really well i was sure he could be a starter for us in A

lol plus we had a better record than Juve when it came to gols let in....yes juve with the worlds best keeper G.G.

than again we didnt score alot either, usually our games would finish 1-0 in favor for us (which is a hell of alot better than losing 5-2 or 2-1)

Anyway i dont know what it is .....someof u say the formation...i dont know......when u think about it the 3-5-2 formation is actually quite defense infact we end up looking sometimes like a 5-3-2................Anyways Reja has to go by this summer max. he has to take a large part of the blame

I'm waiting for him to roll out this 4-man backline with the injuries we have: Grava, Canna, Maldonado, Savini

He'll say Santacroce needs time to settle and Contini is worn out.

Marino should fire him the moment he turns in his team sheet.

he has hardly played Contini, based on the Cagliari match he should be getting more playing time, I would consider going to flat back 4 with Santacroce, Contini, Cannavaro and Domizzi

I really like Cupi in there but he's too injury-prone. Contini played his ass off against Cagliari, but knowing how these guys have performed he may be just as likely to do well as crap his pants on Saturday night against Udinese.

    Yeah, Contini has been inconsistant.

Maybe it's because he should be playing on the left and not the right..... Reja just sucks, and doesn't know any better.

That's exactly it. When he plays on the left he's great. On the right he's total crap.
