Excellent play by Aron. Hammarby has been defending for a long time, but a lobbed ball found him in a good position, and Aron beat in speed Eric Larsson who had to foul him, earning a FK. 2-0. Bojanic took the FK, Magyar scored.
Ended 2-0 to Hammarby which puts them on top of a three way tie at 59 points with Malmo and Djurgarden for the top sport in the table. However Djurgarden play tomorrow. There are 2 weeks left in the season.

True, Aaron has been plagued with injuries most of his career and those are virtually impossible to overcome. He has battled and shows tremendous character. As for Adu, he is just one lazy SOB.

Johannsson finishes the 2019 Allsvenskan season with 10 appearances, 420 minutes, 0 goals, and 1 assist.
Aaron's injury-plagued career (and the kinds of injuries he had) suggets a guy who pushed himself to the limits of a fragile body, and beyond. Fredy? Well, it's true that Fredy was often unfit (see the podgy dude who showed up at Jagodina, Pallosera, etc) but he wasn't often injured and the nature of those injuries often suggested "diplomatic illnesses." The truth is, unlike Aaron, he just couldn't be bothered finding the limits of his body.
In more productive areas, Hammarby finished third in the league, just one point behind winners Djurgarden in Europe's tightest title race. On the final day of the season, three teams could have won it and all three won on the day. It's not that surprising that Aaron struggled for PT; coaches don't tinker with a winning team.
We all would, but at 29 he's no longer a prospect and it's not as if he was setting Swedish D1 alight (not getting chances either, but thats a different story), or that Swedish D1 is so good a league that he's a better option than X or Y in MLS or BL2, Championship, etc. Then there's his body. He may have decided that he needs to keep the stress on it to a minimum so that he can continue to play at this level for another 3-5 years. If not, he may be prioritizing stealing automatic starter next season and showing what he can do to attract one last Top 5 league contract. Either way, international friendly callups won't be top of his list of priorities. IMO they shouldn't be. In any case, isn't Camp Cupcake primarily for the European players who play an August-May season?
It really is a shame he couldn’t stay healthy. He looked every bit the part. Could shoot well with either foot. Could drop in or lead the line. Had a good eye for a thru ball. Wasn’t the fastest or strongest but wasn’t slow or weak. He looked promising. Thought he would have made a good replacement for Dempsey’s skillset. Some players just can’t stay healthy tho.
No, that format generally doesn't allow a big enough break in January for a player to be in NT camp. Most clubs, even with a 6 week break, are often in warm weather camp. Sweden plays a March to November schedule, so players are generally available for a January camp.
Exactly. He has no business joining the US for a camp, and really, is much better off getting stronger and preparing to play, perhaps, more than three and a half games when Hammarby gets back to action.
