a thread sure to make karl and ITN plotz themselves... bushco. deserves a smattering of applause for once it's about time they resumed paying attention to north korea - obviously, this meeting was nothing of earth shattering importance, but... the more these two sides sit at a table together, the less likely someone is to freak out and act stupid - this is a good step in the right direction, and i expect them to follow up often
And we also heard about US talked with insurgents in Iraq. Geez, where are those hot air of "bring it on!" and "Never negotiate with terrorists!" gone?
Hopefully NK will return to the 6 nation talks. I don't really understand why NK wants to negotiate with the US only and not with the 6 nations. Maybe the US should listien to what NK has to say in a 1 on 1 meeting and then take that back to the other nations to see what they think.
