After watching the game again last night I was in shock how quickly the game changed when DDR came in. Florenzi did ok, I actually liked SES better but then again he had way more playing time. Sturaro made some good runs, not too impressed with Giac this time around but his work rate is incredible. Zaza got much better towards the end of the game, especially defensively, Immobile had a couple of decent chances......Overall we looked pretty good even though it was just Finland but I'm sure it's a huge motivator for the upcoming matches.....Andiamo a Berlino Beppe!!....oh wait, wrong tournament.
Well after all Belgium started their first team against Finland and failed to beat them, in fact they almost lost, so it is a good boost for the Azzurri.
I watched the game last night. Italy had most of the possession and lots of chances. The defence had nothing to do except cycle the ball and keep possession which they did really well. Honestly our Juve block might be one of the best ball handlers on defense in the entire tournament.
Clutching at straws, if you're gonna hang on to that view then I'll point out Belgium beat Italy recently which trumps your example. Its great that the best thing anyone can say about Zazas performance was that he ran a lot, against a pedestrian team mind you. Lets remind everyone this is a football tournament not a running tournament.
