There was some discussion of it here: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=195463 but I think the rumors were pretty much put to rest when Italy scheduled their June trip to North America (playing Ecuador and Serbia&Montenegro). It'd be HIGHLY unusual for them to come over here twice in the same summer.
