In defence, Mancini continues to ignore Lazzari in favor of Florenzi. D'Ambrosio and Bastoni rewarded for their work in the Europa league.

In midfield, nice to see Bonaventura there. If he's healthy he has a lot to offer Italy. Cristante, Pellegrini, Gagliardini very questionable for me.

In attack, unless he's injured and I don't know, but it's really ********ed up that Berardi is not there. Kean was terrible this year. But nice to see Ciccio Caputo getting his chance

look at how far we've come in 4 years with that shit midfield we threw out at the euros.

we got some ballers in the mid.

Cristante and Bernadeschi dont belong on the list. Both were decidely awful last season.

Florenzi doesnt belong either, but I have accepted the fact that he is going to be selected for euro 2020. Hopefully he can put in a couple good shifts if he plays.

With what mancini seems to want to do with the squad I'm not sure they need to take more than two center forwards. Theres a few guys on that list who can probably play as a false 9 in a pinch.

It is really nice to see that you're going to have to be at or damn close to world class to get into Italys midfield.

    Mancini's XI against Bosnia?
    By Football Italia staff

Ahead of the match against Bosnia-Herzegovina tomorrow night, Sky Sport Italia claims Italy CT has clear ideas about his starting line-up.

The UEFA Nations League match kicks off at 19.45 UK time at the Artemio Franchi on Friday.

The broadcaster reports Italy are expected to side a 4-3-3 formation, according to their observations from the Coverciano camp.

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne, Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa and Torino striker Andrea Belotti seem set to lead the line in the first out of two UEFA Nations League matches on Friday.

Chelsea playmaker Jorginho seems set for a place in the middle of the park, with Nicolò Barella from Inter and Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo completing the trident in the middle.

In front of Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumme, captain Giorgio Chiellini is set for a return to the line-up, next to Juventus teammate Leo Bonucci.

Roma right-back Alessandro Florenzi and Fiorentina wing-back Cristiano Biraghi complete the defence.

Italy (probable): Donnarumma; Florenzi, Chiellini, Bonucci, Biraghi; Barella, Jorginho, Zaniolo; Chiesa, Belotti, Insigne

    --------------------------------

Has Mancini seen Florenzi play in the past two years?

Bosnia are so well positioned in defense that Italy are having a tough time getting anything in the final 3rd.

Lots of work and no scoring chances. Bosnia are very frustrating and well set-up. Barella best player for italy in the 1st half
