If Spain can dominate the midfield, keep possession of the ball, and set the tone early they can win. BUT of course it all depends on how their attacking players finish in the final third. If they play like they did against the Swiss then they probably won't be able to score even if the goal was the size of a rainbow as my dad would say. If they can play like they did against Croatia then Italy may be in trouble.
The trouble both team waste a lot of chance they create, England will punish them they will not waste their chances.
Quite the contrast, Italy looking for fewest touches to goal and Spain racking up the passing statistics.
This is a cracking performance jointly at a furious pace, but I'm kind of seeing a lot of midfield battle, but real chances few and far between. I see this heading for PKs unless one of the teams have their fitness let them down during extra time. Edit: I should have known I was going to jinx it. Chiesa creates something almost out of nothing with a lovely move and strike 1-0 Italy.
now a fantastic quick move right down the throat of the Italian defense with Donnaruma goign the wrong way and the much maligned Morata brings Spain level 1-1
Twelllman seems to have a photographic memory when it comes to players and the penalty shots they took last.
