Crucial for Italy to get 3 points...Trap sticking with his 4-2-3-1 system it seems...lineup will be something like this:

Buffon; Panucci, Legrottaglie, Cannavaro, Zambrotta; Perrotta, Zanetti; Camoranesi, Totti, Delvecchio; Vieri

and surprise, Vieri has not (yet) pulled out with some phantom injury...

Great game, at last Trap understood, playing only defensive soccer you loose, beautiful attacking plays by Italia. Bravo!

Vieri should play more often. He is easily one of the top five goalscorers in the world, probably top three, or maybe even the best! FORZA ITALIA

Sorry, I meant to say one of the top five goalscorers in there, which he definitely is. Yeah, he doesn't have a right foot, but he scores so much. He already has 23 goals in the serie a and he has missed probably 5 games. And it seems like every time he plays for Italy (which is rare) he scores a goal, if not two.

He is better than Kluivert and Crespo I feel. Vieri and Kluivert isn't even a contest. Raul should be there instead. And Trezeguet should be in the top five.

I am bound to lose this argument because this is the Italy board. But I'll give it another shot - he's in the top 5, if football is played with 1 foot. Let's fact it, Vieri's right foot is dismal.

So is Rivaldo's, Recoba's, and a host of other players all throughout the world. It doesn't mean anything if they compensate with something else. Pippo Inzaghi can't do anything BUT score, but he is still one of the best in the world at his position.

Vieri's left foot has scored 23 times this season, he may as well have one leg.

Come on, hasn't he had at least one or two goals on headers?

    Yada yada yada.....

The truth of the matter is when vieri plays vieri usually scores and his team usually wins, it doesn't matter what foot, hairstyle, or boots he uses.
there are only a handful of international strikers in the world who you could say this about.

    Kluivert.....hahahha
Crepso....hahahah (Maybe a few years ago).
Crespo has really gone downhill over the past 2 seasons.

Henry and Ronaldo I can give you that.
Van Nistelrooy is great also but cmon, put Vieri on Man United and he will easily lead the EPL in goals.
