Italian soccer terminology

    Maybe Rai will offer multi language commentary like GOLTV does. Whereas, viewers in NA can switch the Audio button and get commentary in English for the games...that would be interesting...but i do like having the commentary in Italian...Rai has good announcers.

    It's actually 'primo palo' and 'secondo palo'.

    By the way, Berean Todd, most soccer terms in Italy are really spoken in dialect (when actually playing) so there is a great variety for even the most basic of phrases. I'm sure your kids will pick them up in no time...and the other team members will also help by speaking in English. I remember when I brought my American friend over to Italy my Italian friends would always yell:

    PASS ME!!! PASS ME!!!
