I'm sorry but our pick days are tuesday wednesday and friday normally.. so sorry that nobody kept to the shedule, but I think we should be picking ours today. We have always been ready in time.

Berga: I'm not sure if you followed this discussion from the last week
or two, but we decided collectively that we would abandon the Monday
through Thursday schedule we had set out in the beginning, instead
adopting a rolling system where we just post picks as we have them,
but in the same order we're used to. PM me if you have any questions,
I can explain it further if need be.

thats not what we agreed on. we said teams could pick before schedule if the team before you had made his pick. there was never any talk about abandoning a schedule though. the teams who havent picked in their window should just be passed up on. i hate it when things turn into shit because some people sign up and dont bother doing what theyre supposed to.

Duck - is this one of those days when you get a bit loopy? Read *back
in the thread. We abandoned the Monday-Thursday schedule in favor of
a rolling system. And the sky won't fall, either--we're already in the 9th
round and the draft will continue at a good pace. Relax. ;)

Whoa, slow down. Cassano's two picks were just posted this morning, and we cannot reach a consensus until we see who he gets. We are three guys, we're on US West Coast time, and we need to agree on a pick. Wait a few minutes, the sky is not going to fall.

sounds to me like we settled on picking if its our spot but keeping the schedule. if not then i just wont bother and just check in now and then and see if its our turn (like the majority here is already doing). i get on here to check out peoples picks and nothing is happening. its ********ing annoying. i dont see one good reason why me and berga shouldnt get to pick today.

I added the profiles for my picks. Menti was an extraordinary player who would've been greater if not for the Superga Air Crash. Ferri is a tough defender who will form a great pair with Collovati. I like how my team is shaping out:

    ---------------------------??????------------------------------------------

    Bergomi--------------Collovati---------Ferri-------------------------Cervato

    ---------------------------Albertini----------------------------------------

    Causio--------------------Baggio--------------------------------------Menti

    ---------------Piola----------------------??????????-------------------------

I hadn't heard of Menti but after reading his profile, I'm impressed. He would have been great to watch.

Cassano, you have a fantastic squad there. I really like the midfield.

Lots of flair--but no ball-winner there. Your midfield will get over-run by
    a physical team, I think.

Good pick with Foni by comme and Italia1982. Canzano and Tottino are
    up now.

Everyone must decide: Will we stop the draft at 11 players or does everyone want to draft some subs?

Canzano will have his pick in by latest tomorrow, as for the Subs thing, I'd rather just have 11 players.

If we are going to have a mini tourney or something to decide the best squad then I think that a few subs would be fun. I'm cool either way, though.

I don't mind having some subs.

    I'd like to draft subs.

As to Cassano's team, what Sempre said was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the lineup.

Also, any feedback on Pascutti or Lodetti?

The trophy is all the feedback that we need.

Pascutti was a good player during his time at Bologna but I didn't think he would be drafted.

Lodetti was one of the more underrated players in AC Milan's 1969 European Cup win. He didn't have much of a career with Azzurri but guys like Domenghini and De Sisti were better.

Good thing we drafted De Sisti then too, isn't it? :p

    Nice pick with Foni.

Canzano55 and Tottino are up followed by Spartak/Hawkz. Let's
try to finish the 9th and 10th rounds this week.

    Forza, ragazzi!
