If we press Spain the way we did in March we might have a chance to nick a victory. We can't show any fear.

For tommorows game, Im predicting a fearless Italy that will come out guns blazing for the first 15 to 20 min. In my opinion, this might be there best chance to get on the board and score.

However, I dont see them maintaining this tempo for long and they will retreat into a solid defensive unit and will look to weather the storm of long spells of Spain possession.

I can see some counter opportunities coming Italy's way, but not many and they will have to capitalize on the few chances they do get.

As long as they can maintain good defensive shape and not get caught too far up the field, I cant see Spain getting too many scoring opportunities.

I predict 1-0 Italy either scoring early on or very late in the game.

Can't complain with this. If we're going to beat Spain and Germany, we had to have a more daring formation at some point.

It isn't exactly a revolution. But Insigne off the bench for Giak, playing between Eder and Pelle could be an option if we need to get something going offensively

It's a side that will have to run a lot. No one is great on the ball except for Eder, Giac (a bit), De Rossi, and Bonucci. Luckily, it's a fairly cool night in Paris, so they won't be exhausted chasing the ball a ton. That is a big advantage vs playing this style in the heat.

We'll get out chances...just a matter of taking them. FORZA AZZURRI!!!!!

Well in 2 hours it will be game time this team has already exceded my expectations ( nOT INCLUDING THE Ireland GAME when we already had the group clinched and we played our second and third string guys) so everything here is bonus. With all the injuries it will be diffilcult but this Italy we never back down from nobody. I want to see the effort we put up against Belguim you know Pissed off Italy if we can have a similar effort I think we can get a result. My prediction is this game will go to shootout.

Only way well lose is by a shootout. We will beat these ********s anyway. The Azzurri shows up in full force tonight. Revenge. We'll go at them contrary to what many believe. And we will beat them.

I don't see how we win this game with an already poor attack and mediocre MF, now weakened by the loss of Candreva. I just think that Spain will have too much quality for us. It's a real shame, as we may have been able to pick off Spain this year if Candreva were available, and Marchisio and Verratti didn't miss out on this tournament with injury. I hope I'm wrong.

Teamsheets out: ITALIA (3-5-2): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Florenzi, Parolo, De Rossi, DE SCIGLIO; Pelle, Eder. The only real surprise is De Sciglio.

That's the genius of Conte, start with 10 men then when the Spanish think they have their grip on the match he throws Giack on to unsettle them.

I'm really surprised Florenzi starts...he was terrible against Ireland. Hopefully he surprises us.

Well this side of the draw is total BS but what can you do.

I hope with Candreva out people will stop with this all out attack nonsense. If we win this game it will be by playing like Italy. Frustrate the opponent, be tactically sound, look for opportunities but don't force the action.
