Picked up from Sheffield United fan mail. "Mcabe (Chairman) was delayed getting back from Toronto and missed the game" Now why would a Chairman be in T.O. in the middle of a season? Buying? Selling? Visiting a relative? (for a couple of days?) or did he want to see what a real winter was like.
Well, if it's at all football related, maybe the ambitious Mr. McCabe sees TFC as the next Chengdu or Ferencvaros in his global empire...TFC Blades??? or just another SUFC academy...or summat??? Or maybe he wants to add Scarborough to Scarborough Properties or whatever he calls it???
Well, Le Tie hasn't really worked out there due to injuries, so maybe we're making a scoop for him. Hopefully it's not for Horsfield.
Horsfield has been sold but Sheffield U has Webber, Sharp. Shelton, Stead, Beattie, Hulse, Martin and Cotterill all as strikers (rather an overload for a Championship team) so just maybe one of them could be the reason for the visit. However logic tells me that if TFC were buying, Mo would be in Sheffield not the other way around. As I said it may be absolutely nothing. After all Sheff U now owns a Chinese first division team from which to pick any talent.
d'you think he noticed that TFC are not in Toronto at the moment.......everyone is in Florida until the 25th. Plus we just had a huge ass snow storm that delayed pretty much all the outgoing flights.
