Derby are through to the Championship Playoff Final after a 4-3 shootout win over Southampton. The match finished 3-2 to Southampton on the night but Derby scored their penalties, while Leon Best and former Derby man Inigo Idiakez missed for the Saints.

I'm not going to start this over again I just feel that the way they handled the search for a new manager was shite and a lot of more things.

Bit harsh really. He did say he's pissed off with the press for hounding his kids...for once I do agree with him in that it's out of order.

Have you seen Sheffield United's "idea"? Having 21 teams in the Premiership and relegating four at the end. What a load of shit. They were crap, they got relegated, DEAL WITH IT.

They will never deal with it.

Warnock is a dick. He just cheats his way through the game and then insists that every injustice has been done to his team. He just needs to face facts. They did really well to get into the prem last season but they just weren't good enough. Simple as that.

I do think that the play offs are a bit silly in the championship though. I know it gives a bit of excitement to the end of the season but surely the top 3 teams should just go up. The team in 3rd place have deserved it. After all Derby finished 8 points clear of West Brom and Wolves. I think there would be reason for a play-off if the points were level. But its obvious that Derby had a better season.

Yea there sure is alot of motivation to play for the last playoff berth, I mean the draw against the "first loser" who are sure to be demotivated as they inevitably felt they were worthy of an automatic spot, who by nature have most likely been on a downward run of form, well it's not a great surprise that the 3rd team often gets beat over the 2 legs, then a cup final is anyones day...
Ah warnock, wot rubbish team with poo xcuses will he inflict upon us next!!!

As its stood the play-offs have worked out quite well this year with Derby (3rd) v West Brom (4th) I was just talking to it with my Dads friend who is a die hard West Brom support so of course his opinion was 'ahh the play-offs make it exciting' but he couldn't dispute the fact that Derby MUST of played better than any of the other play off teams because of the point difference. And im sure he wouldnt have been saying that if Albion were in Derbys position and got knocked out!

Warnock apparently wants to jump back into the game. God help any club who take him on!!

I know both teams have injuries but look at the quality that is still out on the pitch. The quality of football shouldn't be that low. I think that neither team wants to loose (obviously) so they are playing it too safe. I have no idea what is up with Ronaldo either. But he needs to get his head into the game.

I just think there is an added bonus that its the new wembley, who's going to get the first goal, whos going to win the cup for the first time. Its such an historic day and the football just isnt living upto that at the minute.

    Hahaha!

That rule only came in about a year ago. I think it was probably because threads were just getting out of control and people were starting new threads.

At least Bigg keeps ontop of it. There was a time when the rule first came out and we used to forget to start new threads!!

Who knows?! Maybe thats a question our fearless Mod Bigg can answer. You would think it would make more sense to have 500 though!
