Istres: the LFP imposes a handicap (28/05)
Its new stage in the course of construction (in Fos) not being in conformity with the rules of the national League, Istréens will have to play their five first matches of L1 at the Stage of the Twyers-side in Nimes. The club of Provence was classified third of League 2 and will thus play Leagues 1 of them the next season. A terrible handicap for Provençaux which did not need that. One nevertheless wonders why Bastia and Ajaccio have an "infinite" exemption in L1 in spite of their nonconformity but on the other hand, that Istres not be able to profit and begin from it the season at the stage Bardin (its stage of L2).
