So i noticed no one had started a thread for this match. I was just wondering what you guy's predictions were for the match. Im hoping if Benayoun plays well maybe it can be a good solid 1-0 or 2-0 win for Israel. But it is a friendly so you never know what will happen. Why weren't Abuhtsira (spelling?) and Eliran Atar called up? And I have a feeling this will end up in a tie, either 0:0 or 1:1.
Curious, Kiyal and Toama dont even get any playing time yet they get called up to the National Team...curious...
Yea also Shechter...And to leave out Balil, David Revivo and Katan it's just crazy, Kashtan is going for a 1-0 victory even in a friendly match...
Kashtan likes to sing "ANI ROTZE OHAVAAAA ARAVIIII" no really...i KINDA like the call up...LESS the grandparents...sorry i mean the defence..!! were are... Haimovitch..?? Kozokin..?? Roash..?? Shpungin..?? Elkayam..?? Bondarv..?? Maimon..? those are the defenders we need..!!! also i think Omer Buksenboim and Sherran Yeini deserve to be called, they have been superb, why he calls Tuama and Kiyal insted of them its a mistery to me..!!
Also here are the starting lineups. Israel Dudu Awat Dedi Ben Dayan--------Dekel Keinan------Tal Ben Haim-------Yoav Ziv Salim Toema---------Gal Alberman---------Moshe Ohayon--------Yossi Benayoun Roberto Colautti-------Omer Golan Hungary: Martin Fulop Boldizsar Bodor---------Vilmos Vanczák-------Roland Juhasz--------Zoltán Szélesi Krisztián Vadócz Balázs Dzsudzsák-------Tamás Hajnal-----Zoltan Gera----------Szabolcs Huszti Sandor Torghelle----Szabolcs Huszti
Omer Golan just missed a sitter, and then it deflects back to him off a hungary defender, and he has an open net to head into, and he heads it over the bar.
0-0 at half time, israel looking good both defending and attacking, but they need better control of the ball in the final third, and they need someone who will score every time they get the chance
click on that link above with the myp2p and click on one of the media player links. also toema with a great shot on goal with a free kick, nice save by fulop
oh man israel just got away with a handball in the box....then golan on the counter runs into three defenders.....also davidovich replaced awat in goal
GOAL YOSSI BENAYOUN!!!!!!!! Great one touch passing to get ben dayan open on the left and he strikes it in to the middle and benayoun just side foots it in.
Israel won the game, although they didnt really look that much better than they have in previous games. Im not sure what the friendly was for since Kashtan played the same players as usual, instead of trying out some new ones.
