On june 19 there is a game in israel. Real Madrid (including David Beckham, his last game for real before moving to MLS) vs the Israel-Palestine all stars. Hopefully Israel will win and there wont be too many problems with players of both sides coming out to play.

What a bunch of p.c. garbage, thats ridiculous, they should get rid of this game. Real-Madrid will destroy any so-called "Israel-Palestine" All-Stars.
Hamas calls for Israel's destruction and we have a peace game, typical socialist "peace now" garbage.

and why real? they sucks. why they dont bring man utd?

and all the ''peace'' is compleatly fake. we dont have peace with the arabs.

and belive me. i dont wanna to think about all beitar fans who will come to this game. they dont exsectly ''like'' the arabs

this game is pc b/s, I agree. I totally agree about the shalom akhshav crap they try to feed people when in reality it has nothing to do with peace. Shimon Peres needs to shut the fk up and not cause any more problems.

This game should be cancelled, I don't want problems on the soccer field, war, peace, politics, and such things should be kept as far from futball as possible.

HA! last time this happened with abrca, we didnt have good israel players on that team pfft who did we have that made the goal to the game we lost? Klemi Saban, and about 8 of the starting team were palestians and israel covered just about 20-30 percent of our team...

    ALEK ISRAEL SUPERSTARS!

id only agree with this if they would put superstars like Benayoun, katan, Tamuz, Ben Haim, Tal, ETC

this will never get publicity and wont ever help with peace

The game is organized by ISRAELI PEACE GROUPS. When Palestinian Peace Movements organize ANYTHING then we'll talk about who Hamas represents. Currently they represent a Palestinian population who VOTED them into power and of whom 80% approve of suicide bombings according to polls.

Additionally, this so call (israel-palestine) team wears Pali colors and is made up of Pali players.

this game is a waste of time and should never be played. They have to stop using soccer for so-called "peace" initiatives and political gains.

Hamas was voted in because of Fatah's corruption, that doesn't mean they support suicide bombings. Such simplicity...

this isnt a political forum so lets keep politics out of it.

But one thing, your comment is very inaccurate. It is clear to all who know about the situation in Israel that you dont know what your talking about. So, dont take this personally, if you wanna know more about the situation in the mideast do some research, some quality research first, before you start making assumptions without knowing the facts.

Of course, but real madrid want to look like one of those people that win every one not to get embarassed and then say: we feel sorry for them

Interesting I didn't bring up politics, but joined in. You make a stink, but then continue the conversation on your assumptions on me. You also make an arguement without any...facts.

    Re: Israel-Palestine Vs Real Madrid

The Palestinians have always supported suicide bombings. Do a simple search of it on google and you will get all the facts you need.
Again, do some research. Clearly you dont know whats going on in Israel.

OK forget the politics for a few minutes and lets talk soccer. In the USA the game is being shown live on Sentanta. Does anyone know if it will be shown on tape-delay on via a web link?

    Re: Israel-Palestine Vs Real Madrid

Why? Meaning, why are they showing this in America? Why should we care about this bullcrap match. No peace, no nothing. Now Katyushas fall on Kiryat Shmona again, and the Arabs are killing eachother. Screw this, we have no partner in peace, and a crappy prime minister. I wish I was Canadian...

    lol.....

So, it was that simple. All we had to do to acheive peace was to have a football match between a joint Arab-Israeli team against Real Madrid. Shit, for 59 years we have been suffering and all they had to do was play one football match to end the conflict. Wow, do I feel foolish.

What a F**cking waste of time this match is going to be. I hope Real Madrid destroy them by 10 goals.

eh... close enough. I was going to go today, but now i'm kinda glad i didn't.
Our peace and unity with a Football team says something about our peace and unity in Politics, no?
