Israel palyed a really good game vs. Ukraine and really surprised them at home. The game was lucky and we had alot of chances and ukraine had even many more chances to beat us. But we stayed strong and we continued until we got to the penalty round. i dont really recall Israel having Penalty shootouts.this is a first! :)

Dont count on winning too :D
Israel is good and i think we can take the challenge of Poland. You guys are without Dudek and you did a good job taiming the Serbs, but we may tame you.

Im feeling a 0-0 draw again with PK! :) but we'll see..

So you will see that Artur Boruc from Celtic Glasgow is good GK too.
It is nice to meet you again guys because we were not playing against each other for years. I remember that in Euro'96 quals we were in one group and in Israel you won 2-1, but in second game in Poland it was 4-3 for us. Let's see how will it be in Kiev...

    Well!
Cant say much about the game. We played with a depleted team.
Ben Haim, our star from last game had a msucle strain and left to the UK and Grant wanted to test Awat's ability so he put him in Net.

Awat did make some terrible mistakes and it cost us. I think that we were making alot of bad mistakes in the defence and thats a reason that awatt was very open and vulnerable, especially in the late half.

But losing in the last 20 minutes of play is nothing new to Israelis

Standard choking for another israeli team.

Who should be surprised. You had to see a picture of Itzchi Menachem in today's Maariv, boy was he pissed.
