I am amazed that the Burn decided to put that picture of the Frisco stadium on the front page. It's the only one out of all the renderings I've seen that shows the FOOTBALL setup. Someone there should wake up.
What he said. Most of the official team websites are lousy, but the organized fan sites are beyond great. 3rd Degree and Metrofanatic are the two I'm most familiar with, but both are must visit locations.
I think with the precedent set by 3rd Degree covering the Burn in Chile and his site being much better than the Burn they would be wise to see about him and his graphics partner taking over at least part of the Burn site. Now, whether Buzz would be interested in that because of possible loss of editorial control is another story but I could see this happening for each team. What could these fans do with a little money from MLS?

How do you even know they are immigrants? Because they are Hispanic? I'm Hispanic and I was born here. My grandparents were born here. Even if the Burn crowd is 90% foreigners, does it matter? I was in Chicago three weeks ago and saw or heard nothing about the fire soccer team. Though lots of people liked my Burn scarf.
Wow. Just went to the Burn site and it looks horrible. Black letters on a maroon background? Yikes. I don't go to the site any more cause they installed Gator (spyware). I don't know if it's still there, but I thing CoolCities should be canned for that alone. Hmm... maybe I'll talk to Buzz and the Burn about changing this arrangement.
