Liverpool are interested in Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emi Martinez, 33, should Brazil international Allison depart. (Tuttojuve - in Italian)

please god - no! I don't care how good a goalie he is.

this would destroy our "no dickheads" philosophy.

    Hell no to Emi.

Jaros comes back to us right? Keep him as 2nd/3rd keeper

And now Allison looking likely to go to Juve.

no one wants to play for Slot. That's my take (just no evidence)

Could be , who knows but Ali is out of contract next year and perhaps the decision has been made to get whatever cash we can for him now.
I think we're going to be active again this window and the kitty will need as much cash as we can gather.
I expect Virg to be the last remaining "big" player from the Klopp side.

Mo,Robbo,Ali,Endo ,Chiesa ,Joe , Harvey probably Jones and Macca.

All well and good but hopefully Slot goes too.

One of the many rumors I’ve read about this is that Alisson is up for it. But equally has no intention of holding a gun to Liverpool’s head, it it works out, it works out. If it doesn’t, it also doesn’t mean that he won’t sign a new contract with Liverpool.

Three Premier League clubs - Liverpool, Newcastle, and Everton - are targeting England forward Jarrod Bowen, 29, even if West Ham avoid relegation. (Mail)

29? not gonna happen unless we offer and he wants a sub role.

Liverpool are interested in Monaco's 24-year-old right winger Maghnes Akliouche, with the France international valued around €50m (£43m). His team-mate Lamine Camara is also on Liverpool's radar, but they may face competition from Newcastle for the 22-year-old Senegal midfielder. (L'Equipe, in French – subscription required)

Sporting and Portugal midfielder Francisco Trincao, 26, is attracting attention from Liverpool and Chelsea. (Caught Offside)

    competition from newcastle?

even our bumbling front office (of late) can rise to that challenge.

Think Bowen makes sense because of the Ekitike injury. Not only can he play right wing, but he also becomes second choice centerforward behind Isak. Even if he’s not the right age, we could use some experience, and eventually Ekitike will come back.

I also think the Endrick on loan link was interesting. Normally I would have no interest in helping someone else’s player develop. But a loan makes sense because of Ekitike. We aren’t going to commit long term to another center forward, so a short term solution in that position could be a good option.

We would still need two wingers with 3 forward signings total.

    • Liverpool's longest-serving player Joe Gomez has admitted uncertainty about his future at the club beyond this season, as he enters the final year of his contract.
    • Liverpool have two young defenders, Giovanni Leoni and Jeremy Jacquet, who are expected to increase competition for places next season.
    • Gomez, who joined Liverpool in 2015, has made 272 appearances but only started six Premier League matches in each of Arne Slot's two seasons in charge.
    • Despite playing a career-best 51 games in the 2023-24 season, his role may be challenged by the new signings and the expected contract extensions for Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk.
    • The versatile defender, who has previously attracted interest from clubs like Aston Villa and Newcastle, has played across the back four during his time at Anfield, but could follow Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson out the exit door this summer.
That makes me sad. Always had a soft spot for Joe.

Still think Gomez could do a job for us if the contract terms were right. Who knows, he might even score a goal.

    An oft injured one too.

if we sign dumfries and keep slot - it's not the same as signing Poulson under The Owl - but it's similar.
