Someone brought "Drops of Jupiter"? into work today and , dear Lord, it was horrible. Not just bad as in I would never own it but bad as in What the F***!! Few bands are that bad but they include Molly Hatchet, Bob Seger, Stryper, and REO Speedwagon. Am I being too hard on this band or are they really this bad?

First Rule of Pop Music: If the chorus in your single includes a repetition of "na na na na", that single will become a hit, get heavy airplay on VH1 and used in every chick flick trailer, no matter how bad it is.

Someone gave my pre-teen one of their CDs. I heard one of the songs, which I think is "She's on Fire". At least that is the chorus.

Although I am not interested in listening to any more, it was fine. Since I don't listen to the radio or keep up with videos, I had no idea whether the band has been overhyped or not.

The song was fine. Probably pointless, or at least as pointless as the second strokes album.

exactly, they both right catchy songs, with absolutely no substance.
