Is there an MLS goals video?

    Is there a product that will be someday available that has either the goals scored in the 2002 MLS season or highlights of the matches and playoffs on video? If something like this is all ready done or will come out then please let me know.

    they are giving away a video of goal highlights with jersey purchases from the mlsgear website... i figure if they do this again next year, it will be an updated video

    you know what was stupid about that though, it was only with the replica jersies. if you spent the extra money for an authentic jersey you got nothing. they reward you if you'll be cheap. odd.

    Am I the only one that finds these "goals videos" boring as all hell?? Why can't there be one soccer highlight video one billionth as interesting as an NFL Films production.

    MLS did put out a season recap video for the 99 season and the 2000 season. I have the 2000 video and it was very well done plus I have the Best Goals video and I think it is incredible. It has the best 10 goals from each of the first 6 years, a must have for any true MLS fan. Quality wise, yeh they don't come close to the NFL Films productions but that is no surprise, How much money does the NFL have to spend on those productions?, probably a couple of million dollars. How much money does MLS have to spend on their productions?, probably a couple of thousand dollars.

    Personally though I don't find the NFL at all interesting. And the NFL Films productions, after about 5 minutes of that background music and I'm done.

    I think I'm a true MLS, where did you get your videos? are they available on DVD now hopefully?

    I haven't ever seen any MLS stuff on DVD but what I'm planning on doing is buying one of those contraptions that will transfer VHS to DVD as a Christmas present to myself. I have around 50 to 60 video tapes of soccer games I need to get onto DVD to properly preserve them for future generations.

    The only place I have seen the MLS videos I have were purchased off of the mlsgear website.

    Well if they put up the new Metro jersey on mlsgear I might have to settle for buying the kit to go along with the video.

    They have the 1999 DVD at the Big Soccer Store. Some other online retailers still have copies left. You can search for "MLS" at dvdpricesearch.com
