Is There A Way To Turn Off Automatic Spelling Changes?

    When I type the username "chec," the computer automatically changes it to "chef" and I have to change it myself, which it lets me do. Is there a way to turn off automatic spelling changes?

    I didn't think of that. I was able to turn off automatic spelling changes on Safari.
