Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson scored a superb free-kick against Manchester United Under-23’s last night, at just 17-years-old is he already too good for Arsenal’s Under-23’s
The wonderkid has already scored six goals in four games in Premier League 2 again showed Arsenal manager Arsenel Wenger he is ready for first football by netting a beautiful effort from the corner of the penalty area that went straight into the top corner of Kieran O’Hara’s goal.

Now the PL2 player of the month for August could be ready to fill the gap left from the sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool.

    Youth Career
Born in London in December 1999, Nelson joined Arsenal when he was just 8-years-old. He quickly became a star at various youth levels and playing above his age group due to possessing great pace, a wonderful touch and plenty of skill.

Broke into Arsenal’s Under-18’s at just 16-years-old and signed his first professional contract with the Gunners in December 2016 following his 17th birthday.

Nelson played 35 times for the Arsenal youth teams, and nine times for the Under-21s in 2016-17, scoring seven times in all competitions and playing in the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League.

    England
Nelson is now a fixture of the England Youth teams after starring for the Under-17’s ay the 2016 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, playing four games and scoring three goals.

    2017-18 Pre-Season
Included Arsenal’s first team squad for the 2017-18 pre-season tour of Australia and China.

Made his first senior appearance for Arsenal against Bayern Munich in 2017 International Champions Cup where he showed The Gunners fans what he was capable of.

Started his first game in the Emirates Cup clash against Benfica before making his first competitive appearance for Arsenal’s first team in the Community Shield, coming on as a substitute against Chelsea. Arsenal went on to win on penalties.

    What next??
Following sale of Oxlade-Chamberlain and the future of Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez looking uncertain, Nelson could soon find himself the latest wonderkid in the Arsenal first team.

I think he could be, maybe not as a first team regular just yet. the game time he is getting at the moment is a wing back which is not his position
