Not that it's really important, but I have friends who are still REALLY into Morrissey who claim to know for a fact that he is gay, so probably just a virgin when it comes to women. I can't believe I even responded to this.
I'm really into him (no pun intended) and I always assumed as much, though if you listen to lyrics from songs like "Handsome Devil" you would not label it an assumption, more of a reality. Either way I never cared about it that much. Much like the Indigo girls, having such things confirmed doesn't change whether you like/dislike their music.
I always thought "Ask" was his big answer-song to those who kept questioning him about his celebacy...
I always just assumed he had done it a few times but the experiences were so awkward and embarrassing for him that he gave up. That's at least the mental image I get from much of his music. But even if he got it on with man, woman, and/or beast all day everyday, I think he'd still write songs from the A-sexual or frustrated sexual perspective...which is one of his shortcomings in my opinion.

You got it, jebediah. Yeah, I guess with statements like that you would look at me strange when I start up the "you can stick that clam chowder up your @ss" when we play the Revs. Sorry. I should have said I like his music more than being in to him personally. I don't have posters/tattoos or anything, just dig the depressing music stuff with dry wit thrown in on the side.
