Are you talking about U20?? LOL U20 with MLS guys is right. Do you see Lamine Yamal playing for Spain???
Yeah, actually we do. We also see a 16/17 year old Lamine Yamal nearly win the Ballon d'Or.... so I guess La Liga and UEFA CL are too easy........
Italy as a country is in decline and Serie A is kind of in decline as well. Hopefully they turn it around. But you can only lose so much population before the cracks begin to show. They have infrasturctrure problems. Bridge? The USA is at least good at building stadiums. We love to build stadiums. We have a lot of nice soccer stadiums now. But every sport has their nice stadiums. Frankly its kind of wasteful but oh well; they look cool and create a nice atmosphere to enjoy some beers and stuff. USA birthrate is not great at 1.6. But we are a country of immigration. And this will continue forever. And what about immigrants? --> They love soccer. So soccer will only increase in USA due to this factor. South America contributes the most immigrants and they love soccer. Unfortunatley USSF isn't keen on this demographic which is why a lot of great players who could play for US end up going to Mexico for example.
Name 5 great players that could play for the US that chose Mexico. You really should start a podcast with all this knowledge and wisdom.
I can tell you there are way more hispanic Americans playing soccer in the US than non-hispanic. Like way more across the land. Many of them simply don't get exposure. Because pay to play. And because small clubs don't get to get seen, even if they are good. If they are not in the top league (ecnl, mls next) they aren't seen. Efrain Alvarez plays for Mexico and recently at the U15 US vs Mexico Davion Kimbrough played for Mexico. But a lot of the top players just don't get seen.
If there's any demographic that's underrepresented its Asians. Where the hell are the Asians? Is there even a single one on the NT? Asians are better than Americans at soccer so there should be at least one. Just like they're underrepresented in Hollywood they are in sports too. They don't speak up. Anywho, hopefully famous athletes like Heung Min Son and Shohei Ohtani will help break the stereotype that Asians aren't good at sports.
Table tennis and badminton are traditionally the most popular sports in China. But basketball and soccer have grown a lot there. But USA has alot more space / less density of people.
You said a lot of great players choose to play for Mexico because the US doesn't care about them. Please name these great players.
Asians are better than Americans at soccer? It's increasingly rare that we have a poster so clueless that is willing to lead us on such a ridiculous journey of nonsense - we really should enjoy these moments.
